1. Why should I give my business to Western Detention rather than buying from the factory direct?

Answer: First of all, Western Detention is a "factory authorized stocking distributor" of genuine manufacturer parts and whole locks (no look-a-like parts). As such, we buy from the manufacturer on a volume basis at a considerably lower price enabling us to sell at a price better than factory direct.

Secondly, with detention facility maintenance budgets shrinking, the ability to "buy ahead of time" for future repair needs has been strained considerably. This is why Western Detention is a "Stocking Distributor" with literally hundreds of thousands of dollars in detention hardware in stock. "WHAT YOU NEED, WHEN YOU NEED IT."

Third, the people of Western Detention are not just distributors, we're maintenance people, as such, we know how to work on the products. All of our warehouse products and our people with the right product knowledge is what we like to think of as our "maintenance shop standing behind your maintenance shop."

Answer: Actually, we do stock many of the specialty items such as J-Operator roller assemblies. We know full well that if your vehicle sally port breaks down, you can't possibly wait normal manufacturer lead times to get a new roller assembly. So, it's in stock!

Answer: Yes. Western Detention has a full service lock repair operation in our facility. Normal turn around time for locks sent in for repair is one week.
